This is a teaser for the upcoming (March 18th) documentary featuring Buddy Guy. The doc’s focus is on Buddy’s mentoring of future Blues artists – and in particular Quinn Sullivan. Buddy’s known for his musical generosity as much as his musical prowess. (So this should be a good one.)

Brasilian Lancaster Ferreira’s put together a tidy little tribute album of Freddie King music that goes down easy (See Short Licks below). Lancaster’s the lead guitarist in the Blues Beatles but this is a solo project. Here’s the video for “Pack It Up.” (The gent can play.)
