The Stumble – ‘The Deal’
APPLE MUSIC
The Stumble is a six-piece UK band that can muscle their way through anything! With a lead singer most bands would kill for (Paul Melville) and slayers on every other instrument, this band kicks butt on this album. They’re supposed to be a great live act and you can just tell it’s true when you hear this record. (Definitely worth a listen.) [PREVIEW]
Damon Fowler & Friends – ‘Live At The Palladium’
APPLE MUSIC
We’ve got a live one here folks. Damon Fowler “& Friends” recorded this set of 10 songs at the historic Palladium Theatre in St. Petersburg, FL. This church-turned-cultural-center is a great venue for Damon’s Blues and Blues-blended tunes. All the boxes are checked on this one, including some great harp work from Jason Ricci. (Me likey). The Band Of Heathens – “Stormy Weather”
YOUTUBE
Here’s one of those Bluesy, Southern Rock numbers from The Band Of Heathens. It’s a live, in-studio version of their 2nd single from their upcoming March album ‘Simple Things.’ This Austin group has been making great sounding albums for a while now and this next one should be no different. [VIDEO]
Check out my ATWB New Blues Playlist. I update it each week with the new Blues tunes that grab my ear.
I look for the new releases from the “name” artists, for sure. But I love to find the good stuff from those “under-the-radar” bands and artists that are out there too.
Check it out. It’s now on Apple Music and Spotify! [READ MORE].
Kinjo & Young – ‘Gone Too Long’
APPLE MUSIC
This is a debut album but these 2 musicians are anything but new to the game. Kinjo & Young (Jory Kinjo & Aaron Young) have literally decades of recording and road experience between them. Here, they’ve put together an album of fresh-sounding originals that show off all their combined skill and experience. (New but so well seasoned.) [PREVIEW]

They’ve got a great sound. And it looks like they’ve got a live album slated for March too. Sign me up! [ARTICLE]
Alastair Greene – ‘Alive In The New World (Live)’
APPLE MUSIC
Alastair Greene’s latest album is a mix from live sets he performed while opening up for Tab Benoit this past year. Tab’s playing drums and Corey Duplechin (Tab’s bass player) sits in too. Alastair’s long been a master of Blues guitar and this “power trio” grouping certainly shines the spotlight on his talent. [PREVIEW]
