Here’s a band that’s hitting on all cylinders – The BluesBones. Their new album (their 7th) is a sophisticated and stylistic Blues-Rock sparkler. These guys are talented. And with one of the most expressive vocalists on the scene today, they’re making music that always grabs my attention. (Definitely worth a listen.) [PREVIEW]

Paul Boddy & Slidewinder Blues Band are nothing if not upbeat and fun. This Pennsylvania Blues Hall of Fame band sort of specializes in the kind of Blues that makes you smile (and maybe even dance a little). This is their first “full-sized” album and I’m grinning right now. [PREVIEW]

He’s an accomplished Nashville songwriter. And he’s made his bones with Country and Rockabilly. But now the word on the street is Ry Bradley is turning his attention to the Blues.
