Christone “Kingfish” Ingram – ‘Live In London’
APPLE MUSIC

I thought I missed the marketing on this, but no. Christone “Kingfish” Ingram just dropped this album with zero warning. Surprise! It’s a live London show from this past June, and boy is it good. He’s only 24 but we can’t call him a prodigy anymore because his musical gifts have matured and he’s in full command. Nobody plays better than this. (Definitely worth a listen.) [PREVIEW]

Joanne Shaw Taylor has a new Blues-Rock single out with the tease of more to come in the next few months. In this video Joanne, and her trusty, shotgun-ridin’ Telecaster, are making it clear. She’s tired of being lied to. So…no más! But when it comes to new music from Joanne, I’m definitely yes más. [VIDEO]

Whew! I can’t possibly overstate Tom Hambridge’s music bona fides. Drummer, writer, producer extraordinaire. When he attaches to your project, it takes off. So when Tom came out from behind the studio mixer to front this record – with the help of some all-stars buds – I knew it would be a treat. (Spoiler Alert – it is!) [PREVIEW]

John Popper & Jono Manson – ‘Bootlegger Days!!’
APPLE MUSIC

This collaboration from long-time friends John Popper & Jono Manson is pretty light on its feet. Throughout this album the fellas switch nimbly between Blues and Americana – and back again. Each original tune is anchored by Mr. Popper’s great vocals and his always tasty harmonica. And if you look closely, you might just catch the shadow of a bootlegger in the background. [PREVIEW]

Welcome to a jaunty little foot tour of LA from your musical tour guide Joe Bonamassa. The soundtrack for the tour is courtesy of Mr. B’s next album (‘Blues Deluxe Vol. 2’) coming next month. The song itself was written by Joe and Tom Hambridge. (Hmmm…where have I heard that name before?) Gonna be a good one. [VIDEO]

Teresa James & The Rhythm Tramps – ‘Rose-Colored Glasses Vol. 2’
APPLE MUSIC

Teresa James & The Rhythm Tramps have got their sights set on some soulful Blues here. Teresa’s got the know-how, Grammy and Blues Music Award nominations tell that tale. And she’s got the voice too. Just the right one to lead this band of LA pros. Nicely put together. (Me likey.) [PREVIEW]
