Here’s a Blues band you may not have heard before – The Blues Express. They hail from the northern parts of Norway. (Yep, Norway!) But don’t let that scare you. These guys can handle any Blues style…Jump, Chicago, Delta…they gotcha covered. Their new album has a nice “live” feel to it too and it’s kickin’ good. [PREVIEW]

A little cinematic turn here from Robert Finley for the 4th single from his upcoming ‘Black Bayou’ album. Robert’s found his musical stride in his 60’s and he’s dropping some very tasty music. And the next album should keep that string going. I guess after this video though, we may have to start calling him “Cool Hand Robert.” [VIDEO]
Eric Sardinas – ‘Midnight Junction’

Eric Sardinas has brought his considerable slide-guitar skills and a whole lot of Blues-Rock energy together in his brand new album. It’s rowdy when it needs to be with just enough self-restraint to make for a great balance. Nice songwriting too. I’m glad I didn’t miss this one. (Me likey.) [PREVIEW]

After surprising us with an unannounced live album last month (‘Live In London’) Christone “Kingfish” Ingram has been splicing up some of the concert footage into some yummy videos. This one shows him and the band in red-hot form and having a blast too. [VIDEO]
Joanne Shaw Taylor – “Black Magic”

This is Joanne Shaw Taylor’s new single. It’s an original of her’s that started out as an instrumental. But she decided to add some lyrics to it and … well, she probably turned it into another crowd pleaser. This lady has tons of talent and she’s hinting at some new music in the coming months. (I’m all in.) [VIDEO]

Who doesn’t like a little Gospely-Soul now and then, huh? So here’s Wilder Woods (pictured) and Abraham Alexander joining forces to cover a great Sam Cooke tune. This one’s from an upcoming compilation album entitled ‘Discovered And Covered.’ All contemporary Dualtone Music Group artists covering classic tunes. They won’t all be Blues, but they should all be mouthwatering. [VIDEO]
